👋🏻 Hello newcomers! I'm Marcello, a MSc student in Computer Science and Engineering 💻 at Politecnico di Milano 🇮🇹 specializing in Artificial Intelligence 🤖. I like to define myself as a tech enthusiast 💡, since I explore new cutting-edge technologies daily to solve real-world problems 🌏. During my BSc in Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Ferrara, I conducted my thesis at NECLab in Heidelberg 🇩🇪, focusing on machine learning applications for energy optimization.

  I researched and developed solutions using machine learning to detect overcrowding situations in buildings in order to improve energy efficiency. I also wrote the bachelor Thesis on the Topic.

• Lead the Future mentorship program October 2022 - ongoing
  Among the few Italian students selected to be mentees for LeadTheFuture, a leading mentorship non-profit organization for students in STEM, with acceptance rate below 20%. LeadTheFuture empowers top-performing students to achieve their goals and contribute to their communities by giving them one-on-one guidance from high-impact mentors coming from the world’s leading STEM innovation hubs such as Silicon Valley and CERN.
